How Hard Can It Be To Write An Article!

My first plan of attack is to learn how to write an Article. In what I have been seeing on the Internet, the basic Article is composed of the following:

Headline

This needs to be CATCHY, EXCITING, KEY RICH, and did I say "CATCHY".... Your audience will be judging your Article by this headline. How CATCHY it is will determine whether people will go on to read the rest of your content.

Introduction

This should be a short description of what your Article is about. You really need to be creative here as you want to entice your reader into reading the content that follows. But don't give the content away.

Main Content

This is where you go into detail about your subject matter for your Article. Show off your expertise and research skills. Offer helpful hints and tips, and always keep your audience at ease. DO NOT LECTURE! Make sure you are giving useful information.

Conclusion

Give a short summary reiterating the content. List resources for reference. If action needs to be taken, make sure to include time frames.

Finally About The Author Box

Here you will want to include your profile and link to your website. The link is important as it creates the back link to your website or blog.

Now that I have the basics for writing an Article,
I need to pick a topic,
research it out, and
start creating my work of art.

Hello And Welcome

I have never written before. Let me clarify that statement. I have written, but not "WRITTEN". The first thing I am going to do is research on the different forms of writing. I am basically going to teach myself the art of writing by using resources from the Internet. I eventually would like to write and get paid for it, but it seems I need a portfolio. So I am going to create my own portfolio through this blog.

I have a question for you readers out there....
Is this a fair assumption.... If a person can speak, read, and write words, then that same person should be able to articulate words into sentences in order to create written pieces of art....
Can a person be taught to write, or is it something that you are born with....

I want to learn all the ends and outs of writing. Hopefully in doing so, I will be able to produce some pieces of art on paper.
